8 DAYS KENYA / TANZANIA SAFARI TRAIL (T14)

Day 1: Nairobi / Lake Nakuru

07:30 hotel pick up and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch followed by game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru is known for its flamingos and over 400 species of birds found here. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species – particularly the Rothschild giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbucks, buffalos and baboons are all residents here.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Breakfast and depart for Masai Mara. After lunch game drive in the reserve.

Day 3: Masai Mara

Full day exploring the park in search of the Big Five. Optional hot air balloon ride can be arranged, departing at 06:00 and ends with champagne breakfast on the plains.. Masai Mara offers over 450 species of animals. Lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant are easily sighted. It is the site of the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania).

Day 4: Nairobi – Amboseli

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi. Lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant before continuing to Amboseli.

Day 5: Amboseli / Namanga – Lake Manyara

Early morning game drive before breakfast then driving to the Namanga border. Exchange vehicle and continue to Arusha for lunch then onto Lake Manyara, a place professed by Ernest Hemingway as the most beautiful lake in Africa. The area is most well known for its baboons.

Day 6: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro

Early breakfast and depart for Ngorongoro crater, game drive en route. Lunch at Ngorongoro crater lodge. Afternoon crater tour. The crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera.

Day 7: Ngorongoro / Namanga – Nairobi

Breakfast and leave for Nairobi, lunch en route. Arrive Nairobi late afternoon.

Day 8: Nairobi

Transfer to Nairobi airport.
