08:00 hotel pick up and drive to Amboseli via Namanga on the Tanzania border. Lunch at lodge followed by full afternoon game drive. Amboseli Park is the second most popular park in Kenya after Masai Mara. It is situated against the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary. It is also often referred to as the “Home of the Elephants”.

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park. A stop will be made at Mzima Springs, a favorite haunt of hippos and crocodiles. Lunch at lodge followed by early evening game drive to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino and wide variety of antelope. This park is famed for its large herds of elephants covered in red dust and fine scenery. Visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier season) and Aruba Dam if time permits.

Depart after breakfast to Tsavo East National Park. Game drive as we exit the park.

Full day exploring park. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocs and hippos. Likewise, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks are common along the river banks.
